Serena Settlemier, a pitcher from Kelso, Wash., and Lindsey Weinstein, a first baseman/outfielder from Tarzana, Calif., have signed softball letters of intent with Kansas University.
Settlemier compiled a 17-2 record and a 0.16 ERA last season. She was Washington’s Gatorade Player of the Year. Weinstein was her high school MVP and the league player of the year.
