Kansas topped Kansas State, 15-11, on Saturday at the Kansas River to win the fourth annual Sunflower Showdown Regatta.
KU won five of the seven races to close its fall season.
“As a team, I think we showed a lot of depth even though we did lose the Varsity 8 race,” KU coach Rob Catloth said.” But, it’s a good start for the spring when everything counts.”
