KU aide Wyatt undecided

By Staff     Dec 21, 2000

Two days after saying he’d make within 24 hours a final decision whether to remain on Kansas University’s football staff or head to Oklahoma State, Darrell Wyatt said he was still undecided.

“Not yet, but soon,” Wyatt said Wednesday. “I’d say in the next day or two.”

Late last month, Wyatt was promoted from assistant head coach to associate head coach and was given added duties of offensive coordinator as part of KU head coach Terry Allen’s overhaul of the coaching staff.

New OSU head coach Les Miles and OSU assistant Mike Gundy a close friend of Wyatt’s then tried to lure Wyatt to Stillwater, Okla.
