KU swimmer breaks into top five at Texas Invitational

Sophomore Brian Soria, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., gave the Jayhawks a boost on the final day of the Texas Invitational. Soria placed fifth in the 1650 meter freestyle event. The next best Kansas finish was fifteenth in the 400 meter freestylye relay.

KU will return to Austin in March for the Big 12 championships. Up next will be a ten day training trip to Florida starting January 3.
