Ex-Jayhawk named to CFL All-Star team

Former Kansas University offensive tackle Christopher Perez has been named to the Canadian Football League All-Star team for the first time.

Perez, 31, played for the British Columbia Lions in 2000. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman was named a CFL division all-star in 1996 and 1999 while playing for Toronto and Winnipeg respectively.

Perez, who has never missed a game in six CFL seasons, played at Kansas from 1988-91.
