Since finishing tied for second at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in February, former Kansas University golfer Matt Gogel has struggled on the PGATour.

Gogel has entered 23 events on the Tour this year and missed the cut 15 times.

Last Thursday and Friday, Gogel shot a 78-69147 in the first two rounds of the Reno-Tahoe Open, and failed to advance.

Since posting that tie for second at Pebble Beach, Gogel’s best finish was a tie for 11th at the Shell Houston Open on April 30.

Gogel has missed the cut in nine of his last 12 tournaments. Despite his recent problems, Gogel has still earned $550,698 in prize money.
