KU BASKETBALL COACH ROY WILLIAMS ON HIS FOUR SENIORS, WHO CONCLUDED THEIR HOME CAREERS AGAINST OKLAHOMA STATE ON MONDAY NIGHT:

Ryan Robertson: "What is mind boggling to me is only six players have played in more games at Kansas than Ryan has played in." Robertson, who has played in 136 games will likely finish his career second behind Danny Manning in games played. Kevin Pritchard is second on the all-time list at 139 games. Manning played in 147.

A fan carrying a sign ran onto the court and halted play with 15:12 left. The sign said "Good Luck Seniors" on one side and "Congratulations Roy on 300 wins" on the other side. The fan, who appeared to emerge from the student section, actually shook hands with KU seniors T.J. Pugh and Ryan Robertson, then headed into the east bleachers, where he was apprehended by police.

What a way to go. "That's a tough way to lose a great basketball game," Oklahoma State coach Eddie Sutton said.

KU SIGNEE COLLISON EXPECTS TOUGH CROWD

Kansas University men's basketball signee Nick Collison expects jeers and cheers when in plays in next month's prestigious McDonald's All-America game. Collison, a 6-foot-9 forward from Iowa Falls (Iowa) High, is one of 25 members of the McDonald's all-star teams that will play on March 24 in Ames, Iowa.

Tom Asbury knew about Kansas' affinity for second-half swoons. So did Asbury's Kansas State basketball players. "We talked about them showing an inability to protect leads," Asbury said. "That's something you focus on. Unfortunately, we couldn't get over the hump."
