Kansas basketball player Archie Marshall, who was originally listed as questionable for next Saturday night’s exhibition game agains tthe touring Italian National Team because of a thumb injury, returned to workouts Friday.
“I practiced today and everything went well,” he said. “It’s nothing serious, nothing that’s stopping me from doing anything.”
Marshall, a 6-6 senior who missed all of last season while recovering from a knee injury, suffered a minor fracture in his left hand during Thursday’s practice session.
Kansas will meet the Italians at 7:35 p.m. a week from tonight in Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks open the regular season on Nov. 27 at the Hawaiian Airlines Classic in Maui.
