Tyshawn Taylor scored a career-high 28 points on 10-for-21 shooting, leading the Kansas men's basketball team to an 82-73 victory over Iowa State on Saturday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.
KU trailed 52-40 with 17 minutes to go in the game before going on a 30-9 run to take a 70-61 lead with 8:29 left.
Taylor scored 22 of his 28 points in the second half. He also posted six assists and four steals to go with four turnovers.
Thomas Robinson added 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Jeff Withey notched 13 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks.
KU (14-3, 4-0 Big 12) will play host to Baylor at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
