_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**Ryan Greene fills in for Tom Keegan, who has the weekend off, in compiling the ratings.****1. Mario Chlamers**: Bill Self pointed out that Chalmers was the engine that made everything go for KU in the second half. His final line wasn’t bad, either, with eight points, six assists, four rebounds, three steals and even two blocked shots. His backdoor dunk off a feed from Darrell Arthur was the play that ultimately woke up KU from its slumber. Before that was an unselfish transition dish to Brandon Rush for a soaring slam. He followed it all by interacting with the KU faithful in attendance. Good showing.**2. Darnell Jackson**: Despite picking up four personal fouls, Jackson played 30 minutes and his most impressive number came from the free throw line, hitting all 10 of his looks.**3. Brandon Rush**: After a disappearing act following halftime in Bramlage, Rush was KU’s one constant threat Saturday in Boulder from start to finish. He had 15 points and six boards, with eight of those points coming after the break. Included was a huge fast-break dunk late to help put the Buffs away.**4. Sasha Kaun**: Kaun’s 12 points were marked by efficiency, going 4-of-5 from both the floor and the line. He’s a much-improved foul shooter at this point in the year, and that’s gone somewhat unnoticed. **5. Sherron Collins**: After a horrendous first half – his only number on the stat sheet was four fouls – Collins scored nine points on perfect 4-of-4 shooting in the second stanza. He got to the rim like the Sherron of old and finished with flair, had just one turnover in the final 20 minutes and showed no ill-effects after bumping knees with a CU player under the basket early in the game.**6. Darrell Arthur**: Had nine points in 25 minutes, but could have had more if teammates found him more often in the first half while he was matched up on Richard Roby, who he backed down with ease in his lone one-on-one try against the CU senior.**7. Russell Robinson**: Robinson scored just one point, but didn’t do anything to hurt his team, as is usually the case. Finished with four rebounds and four assists.**8. Rodrick Stewart**: Three rebounds in 10 minutes of play, but brought plenty of energy while Arthur and Jackson sat briefly in foul trouble.**9. Jeremy Case**: He gets the nod over Aldrich just because of how much Keegan loves him. Keegan would have wanted it this way, trust me.**10. Cole Aldrich**: Played just one minute, didn’t make a dent on the stat sheet.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **8.23** (181 points, 22 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **7.76** (163 points, 21 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **7.25** (145 points, 20 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.68** (147 point, 22 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.32** (139 points, 22 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **6.00** (96 points, 16 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.64** (124 points, 22 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **4.14** (87 points, 21 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **4.09** (90 points, 22 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **3.25** (52 points, 16 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.30** (46 points, 20 games)
