_After each KU football game this season, this is where you can find out the gridiron equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Top 10 Jayhawk individual performances, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Todd Reesing**: He completed 17 of 18 passes in the first half and the only one he didn’t complete was thrown out of bounds intentionally to avoid taking a sack. Completed his first nine passes of the game, threw one away, then completed his next 10. Set the single-season completion record (228), passing Mike Norseth (227 in 1985). Has 30 touchdown passes and four interceptions, and needs three touchdown passes to pass David Jaynes (35) as the career touchdown pass leader.**2. Dexton Fields**: Scored two early touchdowns, the first one thanks largely to a Dezmon Briscoe block. Tied a school record with 11 receptions, which went for 109 yards.**3. Marcus Henry**: Four catches for 92 yards and a 51-yard touchdown on which he showed why he never loses a foot race to the end zone.**4. Kerry Meier**: Had a touchdown reception and threw a touchdown pass. Caught three passes for 41 yards and completed 9 of 9 passes for 101 yards.**5. Brandon McAnderson**: Rushed for 70 yards, averaging 7.8 yards a carry, and caught three passes for 26 yards. Became the 12th player in team history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season and stands at 1,009.**6. Mike Rivera**: His seven tackles don’t tell the story of how frequently he hurried the quarterback.**7. Chris Harris**: Starting in place of injured Kendrick Harper, Harris made nine tackles, one for a loss, had two pass break-ups and contributed to Todd Blythe’s quiet day.**8. Aqib Talib**: Made some terrific plays, including two pass break-ups, and made seven tackles.**9. Jake Sharp**: Everybody knows how fast he is. It’s his power that’s underrated. Sharp rushed for 83 yards, including a 25-yard gain.**10. Derek Fine**: Celebrated his senior day by scoring a touchdown, catching two other passes, and contributing a typical phyiscal day of blocking.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (total points)** **1.** Todd Reesing (80 points) **2.** Aqib Talib (59 points) **3.** Brandon McAnderson (50 points) **4.** Marcus Henry (49 points) **5.** Anthony Collins (46 points) **6.** Joe Mortensen (37 points) **7.** Jake Sharp (32 points) **8.** James McClinton (30 points) **9.** Mike Rivera (26 points) **10.** Darrell Stuckey (23 points) **T-11.** James Holt (19 points) **T-11.** Kerry Meier (19 points) **13.** Derek Fine (18 points) **14.** Dexton Fields (17 points) **15.** Chris Harris (14 points) **16.** Justin Thornton (13 points) **17.** Dezmon Briscoe (12 points) **18.** John Larson (10 points) **19.** Marcus Herford (9 points) **20.** Kendrick Harper (7 points) **21.** Kyle Tucker (6 points) **22.** Scott Webb (5 points) **23.** Raimond Pendleton (4 points) **T-24.** Max Onyegbule (3 points) **T-24.** Dakota Lewis (3 points) **T-24.** Jeff Wheeler (3 points) **T-24.** Ryan Cantrell (3 points) **T-24.** Chet Hartley (3 points) **T-29.** Jake Laptad (2 points) **T-29.** Raymond Brown (2 points) **31.** Jamal Greene (1 point)
