_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk scholarship players’ individual performances, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Brandon Rush**: His return to the court sparked the team and the crowd and deflated Washburn. The score was 6-6 when Rush checked into the game. During his 12 minutes, all in the first half, KU outscored Washburn, 26-10. He contributed seven points, three rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.**2. Darnell Jackson**: Non-stop hustler had 10 points, seven rebounds (five offensive boards), two blocks and two steals in 23 minutes.**3. Rodrick Stewart**: Drove and dished his way to four assists and showed off his remarkable jumping ability with a tomahawk slam and a blocked shot off the backboard. Had nine points and four rebounds.**4. Mario Chalmers**: Didn’t turn the ball over once and had 10 points, five assists and four boards. **5. Darrell Arthur**: Had 14 points, but only five boards. Is super quick on defense but could learn to be a little more physical without fouling.**6. Russell Robinson**: Had the play of the night, soaring to block a 3-point attempt by Washburn’s talented junior college transfer Angel Santiago. Then fired the ball ahead to Stewart for a jam. Had team-high four turnovers.**7. Sasha Kaun**: Would rank much higher here but for his horrible form at the free throw line and his ill-advised second foul, which happened way out on the perimeter.**8. Tyrel Reed**: Nailed 2 of 3 3-point shots and finished with eight points. A little dribble-happy at times, but impressive nonetheless for a freshman.**9. Cole Aldrich**: Not tonight.**10. Jeremy Case**: Misfired on all three 3-point attempts and was stripped of the ball while dribbling.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Brandon Rush **10.00** (10 points, 1 game) **2.** Darnell Jackson **7.67** (23 points, 3 games) **3.** Sherron Collins **7.00** (14 points, 2 games) **T-4.** Russell Robinson **6.67** (20 points, 3 games) **T-4.** Mario Chalmers **6.67** (20 points, 3 games) **6.** Rod Stewart **6.33** (19 points, 3 games) **7.** Darrell Arthur **5.00** (15 point, 3 games) **8.** Tyrel Reed **4.67** (14 points, 3 games) **9.** Sasha Kaun **4.33** (13 points, 3 games) **10.** Cole Aldrich **3.67** (11 points, 3 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.00** (6 points, 3 games)
