For fans of Kansas University basketball past and present, it’s one of the most entertaining events of the summer in Lawrence.

Each year, a handful of former and current players get together at head coach Bill Self’s hoops camp and put on a show for all of those in attendance.

This year’s camp, which began last Sunday, is no different and there are several notable names floating around the camp waiting for the scrimmage that highlights the week.

As soon as the rosters are known, we’ll update you with who’s playing for which squad, and we’ll be sure to bring you scoring and highlight updates throughout today’s scrimmage.

Not enough alumni in town to do a typical past vs current players like most years?

He's here. Got here a little later than the others. Not sure if he's going to play today or not. I think he was at Washburn's camp earlier today.

Miles in more in shape than Julian Wright?

It looks that way to me. Different bodies, for sure, but Julian has added some pounds and Miles looks every bit as good as he did when he played here. If anything, he's more toned than he was.

not yet!

Thanks Matt. I was just surprised because of the article today saying Julian played fantastic in the NBADL and was the best player in the playoffs.

Any reason Traylor and Peters aren't playing? Just a numbers thing?

Minor bumps and bruises. Gary Bedore says they're fine, though...
