Ok, we all know that this season has been a failure compared to what we came into the season expecting (Nebraska thinks the same thing)... But for the Nebraska game, Senior Day, I and the players would love to see a sellout at Memorial. Our Senior class is the most accomplished class we have ever had and is one of the reasons for our recent success. There is nothing that I would hate more than seeing this great senior class not go out in style and in front of a subpar crowd. We could still end the year 7-5 possibly 8-4 (though unlikely) and I would like to see the stadium as full and crazy as it has for the past 2 Nebraska games. Jayhawk fans all I ask is that you send the senior class out with a bang. And on top of that, a lot of recruits are coming to this game I'm sure, as we and the prospective athletes thought at the beginning of the year that this was the game to decide the North, and they would appreciate the football program and the fan base so much more if there were 52,000 packed at Memorial on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
Be Loud. Wear Blue. Beat the Huskers.

Did you see NU shut down OU last night?

Only because I used to hang around with Darrell Stuckey occasionally when he went to middle school in my mom's class I will show up to this game. But I certainly don't expect to win. I will be hoping to win and support the team, but frankly they are so mentally checked out of the season at this point it won't matter.

You have to also look at this in the Nebraska OU game. Nebraska didn't turn the ball over, we pretty much gave OU 21 points off of turnovers. Nebraska's offense is terrible.

I will cheer on my Jayhawks, although I must admit that I am particularly frustrated with this team. I'm pretty sure nu will beat us by at least 2 touchdowns, but I will hope for the best.
