Congratulations to the KU Jayhawks for winning yet another Big 12 championship in basketball. I realize fans in general tend to look past the regular season and judge a team's success based on what the team does in post season play. The fact that KU can win all these Big 12 championships speaks volumes for the program. I am so grateful for Bill Self and what he has accomplished. In my mind, he has exceeded what other great coaches have done at KU.

Regardless of what happens in post season play, let us savor the moment and really enjoy our accomplishment. Hopefully fans don't take it for granted and just look at it as a ordinary feat. Our friends that support the rival schools to the east and west of us would love to be in our shoes. Trust me on that (although they would never admit it outwardly to KU fans).

It is so great to be a Jayhawk (in my case a converted Jayhawk). :)

Rock Chalk Jayhawk is music to my ears now.
