Marcus Morris on what it means to have his jersey retired

Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris spoke to reporters Monday night before the Iowa State game in Allen Fieldhouse.

Morris will have his jersey retired at halftime on Monday.

It's been a few weeks since Morris first got the call from Kansas coach Bill Self that this was the year that he, the 2010-11 Big 12 Conference Player of the Year, would have his name and number memorialized forever inside Allen Fieldhouse.

KU sophomore David McCormack on facing the West Virginia frontcourt

Kansas sophomore David McCormack spoke to reporters on Monday in the Allen Fieldhouse media room.

KU will travel to West Virginia on Wednesday, with tipoff being slated for 6 p.m. The Jayhawks defeated the Mountaineers in the Big 12 opener by a 60-53 margin. KU is 2-5 against WVU all-time in Morgantown.

The Jayhawks are 20-3 on the year, including 9-1 in Big 12 play.

Braun was asked about the challenges of facing a team for the second this season. Kansas, which defeated West Virginia in the Big 12 opener, will travel to WVU on Wednesday. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.

Kansas coach Les Miles on 2020 recruiting class

Kansas coach Les Miles spoke to reporters Thursday morning after finalizing the 2020 recruiting class.

The Jayhawks have a 30-player class, which features 30 high school athletes. Kansas has seven receivers in the class, which is its largest position group. There are also six offensive linemen and five cornerbacks in this class.

KU is coming off a 3-9 campaign during Miles' first year at the helm.
