Love our guys, but let's see it like it is. We do not have great talent. We have good talent, that is well coached. On the other hand shame on you Shaka Smart for not doing more with the talent you have, but I digress.

When we needed a basket at end of game, who do you go to? Maybe McCormack, if he's having a normal game.

Everyone else on our team is somewhat 2 diminsional. Braun is a great 3point shooter, but he has to be open. Wilson can only drive one way basically, and he has little confidence in his mid-range game. Ochai simply cannot score close to the basket. He needs floater, and short jumper. Thompson has all the moves, he needs better handle though. And he has to improve his defense. But look out next year. Marcus is tremendous, but driving except to the rim, is a problem for him, he has had the ball stripped and made a lot of turnovers, trying to hard.

In general we are an unbelievable streaky shooting team, and to make matters worse not a good FThrowing team. Free throws would have won the Texas game is we make 75% even.

We are a decent rebounding team, especially Jalen Wilson. We are not a very good passing team either.

So there you have it, we are what we are. Defense is the answer baby, for us this year, the only answer.
