Coming off a home win over Oklahoma State on Monday, unranked Kansas will now turn its attention to an unusual stretch of games to close out the week.

KU will have a rare back-to-back two-game series with Iowa State this week. The Jayhawks will host the Cyclones on Thursday before traveling to Ames, Iowa on Saturday.

Entering this two-game stretch, Kansas is 13-7 on the year and 7-5 in Big 12 action. Iowa State, meanwhile, is 2-12 overall and winless in nine conference outings.

Kansas coach Bill Self, along with players Jalen Wilson and Christian Braun, spoke about the challenges and benefits of playing the same team twice in three days during its media availability on Wednesday.

Tipoff for Thursday’s matchup between KU and ISU is slated for 6 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
