Texas Tech coach Chris Beard spoke to reporters following a 78-75 loss to No. 3 Kansas on Saturday in Allen Fieldhouse.
KU leads the series with Texas Tech, 36-6, including an 19-1 mark in Allen Fieldhouse meetings.
Kansas will play host to Texas at 8 p.m. Monday.
