David Beaty on loss to Nicholls State

Fourth-year head coach David Beaty speaks to reporters after an overtime loss in the season opener against Nicholls State on Saturday. The Jayhawks have lost two of their four games against FCS foes under Beaty.

Kansas has not won a game since the season opener in 2017, which is a span of 12 consecutive defeats.

The Jayhawks are now 3-34 since Beaty took over the program.

Entering Saturday, Nicholls State was the No. 17 team in the FCS preseason coaches poll.

He’s all about fixing things that shouldn’t be broke

If this bonehead hadn't tried to ice the kicker KU would have won.

I genuinely believed he'd get fired before the sun rises.

He could probably just play the same recorded message at the end of every game. He needs to be gone before the week is out. Nice guy. Either his recruiting, coaching or both are abysmal.
