Kansas maintained bragging rights in the Border War, claiming a 109-101 victory over Missouri in Saturday’s alumni game.

Former Jayhawk Brandon Rush paced all scorers with 46 points at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Mo.

The game, which was dubbed “Rivalry Renewed,” came about when Steve Gardner, a 1991 KU graduate and die-hard Kansas fan, was contacted by former Missouri standout Kareem Rush about putting the game together.
