Visit couldn't have gone better for Zeke Nnaji and family
Kansas hosted Class of 2019 power forward Zeke Nnaji for his official visit this past weekend and the 6-foot-11 skilled 4 from Minnesota was joined by his family on the visit.
Shortly after their return home, KUsports.com caught up to Zeke's father, Apham, about the visit.
"The meeting couldn't have gone better," Apham Nnaji told KUsports.com. "It was very informative for sure. We were able to see the need for Zeke's style of play and skill set, but most importantly, all the support he'll get should he decide to go there."
The Kansas coaching staff was clear about their message to Nnaji and his family. Kansas wins, and Kansas has a long history of developing and preparing players for the jump to the NBA.
"Their message was for him to be a part of a winning program with a proven track record of getting hard working kids to the next level," Nnaji's father said. "The facilities are second to none comparatively. Coach (Bill) Self is very relatable, and his staff is consistent as a unit."
Nnaji will now visit the four schools remaining on his list of finalists before making his college decision. He will visit Arizona this coming weekend before visiting UCLA (Oct. 20), Baylor (Oct. 27) and Purdue (Nov. 4).
