Class of 2019 shooting guard names Kansas in Top 6
Class of 2019 shooting guard Josh Green named his final six schools on Monday and the Kansas Jayhawks remain one of the schools Green is considering.
Kansas has been recruiting the 6-foot-6, high-flying guard from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., for months, but the school that most recently offered him has quickly become the favorite according to a number of industry experts.
North Carolina came in with its offer in late July and since then has been considered the favorite. Arizona is another school that has been considered to be a front-runner for Green.
Another Kansas recruit, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, will be joining Green at IMG this season.
The current Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year made the decision to transfer to IMG earlier this season and made the move to Bradenton, Fla., this past weekend. Robinson-Earl is also considering North Carolina, as is IMG big man Armando Bacot.
Bacot and Robinson-Earl are roommates IMG.
Green's Top Six schools are: Villanova, North Carolina, Arizona, USC, UNLV and Kansas.
