**1 – Malik Newman:** Well, what did you expect from a McDonald’s All-American? He certainly looked the part for the second night in a row, following a 30-point performance with a 22-point beauty that also featured six rebounds, four assists and three steals. He made 5 of 8 3-pointers and turned back three Kansas State second-half rallies with swished 3-pointers.
**2 – Devonte’ Graham:** Even with his shooting seemingly hindered by tired legs, Graham put his winning stamp on the game. He had a game-high eight assists and two steals and made all eight of his free throws to compensate for a 3-for-11 shooting night that included him missing all but one of his six 3-pointers.
**3 – Silvio De Sousa:** The team’s best rebounder played 19 minutes and totaled eight points and 11 rebounds. Has a long way to go as a defender and won’t get there this season, but really knows how to soar to get his hands on missed shots. Graham set him up with a beautiful lob from close range but he wasn’t ready for it and had to earn the two points at the free-throw line.
**4 – Svi Mykhailiuk:** Defenses are working hard at trying to deny him the ball, but he still managed to make 4 of 8 3-pointers to account for all of his points. Picked up just two rebounds and didn’t have an assist.
**5 – Marcus Garrett:** Turned a clever steal into a bucket and contributed eight points and five boards.
**6 – Lagerald Vick:** Had 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, three turnovers and two steals.
**7 – Mitch Lightfoot:** Struggled defensively against the stronger Makol Mawien (29 points in 34 minutes) and committed four fouls, but also had eight points, two offensive rebounds and two blocked shots.
**8 – Sam Cunliffe:** Played two minutes and committed a foul and a turnover.
