Sophomore receiver Evan Fairs tops ratings at Texas

1 - Evan Fairs: Talented sophomore caught seven passes for 104 yards. Steadily improving, a potential force.

2 - Keith Loneker: Followed his huge 2016 game vs. Texas with another strong effort. Had eight solo tackles, including two sacks, and two assists. Plays with a lot of passion.

3 - Daniel Wise: Despite receiving special attention from the offensive line managed to get credited with 1.5 TFLs and was in on five tackles.

4 - Steven Sims: Nine receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.

5 - Osaze Ogbebor: Steadily improving linebacker had a sack, one of his four solo tackles.

6 - Carter Stanley: Took several punishing hits and kept bouncing back up. Threw three first-half interceptions but also completed 27 of 43 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns.

7 - Chase Harrell: Scored the game’s final touchdown with 11 seconds remaining on an 18-yard reception and also had a 7-yard reception.

8 - Hasan Defense: Burned early he gave the offense a great opportunity late with a 10-yard interception return.

9 - Kerr Johnson: Recovered a fumbled kickoff and had a 29-yard reception.

10 - Earl Bostick: True freshman tight end did nice job of staying in bounds for 5-yard TD catch in back of end zone.
