Outstanding first half puts Josh Jackson at top of ratings vs. Kansas State
- Josh Jackson: Put on an amazing passing exhibition in a first half that featured a way-up-there dunk, 16 points, five rebounds and five assists. Second half didn't go as well and included a technical foul. He finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and got away with a bad defensive blunder when he failed to switch onto Dean Wade, leaving him open to miss a shot he usually makes.
- Landen Lucas: Became a go-to guy late in the game and produced his second consecutive double-double performance, this time totaling 18 points and 12 rebounds.
- Devonte' Graham: Made good decisions at high speeds and had six assists and just one turnover. Made 3 of 7 3-pointers and finished with 13 points in 37 minutes.
- Frank Mason: Turned it over five times, but also contributed 15 points and four assists.
- Svi Mykhailiuk: Dancing with stars (and the basketball in his hands), Svi took a few extra steps and threw in the game winner. No whistle for the travel meant no overtime necessary. His father was in the stands to witness his 11 points and buzzer-beating game winner.
- Carlton Bragg: Turned a couple of great Jackson passes into buckets and produced seven points and three rebounds. Also had two turnovers.
- Lagerald Vick: Mostly invisible for 24 minutes. Needs so much work at the defensive end.
- Mitch Lightfoot: Committed a foul and made 1 of 2 free throws in three minutes.
