Kansas guard Kelly Oubre, Jr. (12) knocks the ball loose from TCU's Karviar Shepard (14) in the Jayhawk’s 64-59 win over TCU Thursday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

**1 – Kelly Oubre Jr.:** Freshman showed that postseason basketball is a game he enjoys by scoring a career-high 25 points and carrying Kansas. It was not just the point total that was impressive about Oubre’s day. He played smart, aggressive basketball and was unafraid all afternoon.

**2 – Landen Lucas:** Once upon a time, 13 points and 7 boards would’ve have seemed like made up numbers for Lucas. Now, those seem like the norm. Hit 6 of 7 shots and added 3 blocks, all in just 24 minutes.

**3 – Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk:** Scored just two points and added two assists but played 15 minutes and gave KU coach Bill Self an option when both Brannen Greene and Wayne Selden struggled. Svi was as aggressive and confident as he’s been in weeks and even started the second half.

**4 – Frank Mason III:** Stats were far from spectacular — six points, five rebounds, two assists, two turnovers — but did play 37 minutes and added three steals. Self said he would’ve liked to see more energy from his point guard and floor leader. So I suspect that’s what you’ll see on Friday.

**5 – Wayne Selden Jr.:** As per usual, Selden did enough of the little things — an assist here, a steal there, an offensive rebound there — to impact the game, but his bottom line was still average at best. Scored seven points (on 3-of-6 shooting) and grabbed four boards but also turned it over four times and missed two of three free throw attempts.

**6 – Devonté Graham:** Recorded four assists and had no turnovers in 24 minutes and made at least three or four other really nice passes that could have become assists had the shots fallen.

**7 – Jamari Traylor:** Four fouls limited him to 20 minutes, which is a shame because Traylor was 3-for-3 from the floor and also blocked three shots. He’s gotta find a way to stay on the floor.

**8 – Hunter Mickelson:** Not his best night. Two points and one rebound in eight minutes. Did record a block, but also air-balled a baseline jumper.

**9 – Brannen Greene:** Two points, three turnovers and 13 minutes. Not the kind of bounce-back performance you’re looking for from a guy who sat in street clothes due to a suspension the last time out. Greene looks sped up and uncertain with just about everything he’s doing right now.
