Jake is #5 here, but gets a sticker from the ESPN-Big12 blog. Tom - I like your appreciation for the substance of football relative to the mainstream media's infatuation with flash. Keep sawin' wood.

25 for 41, 260 yards, 1td, 1int.

I know it must get tiring mentioning Reesing. Especially when he throws a whole interception and looked human. But Keeg Party please.

He certainly makes the top ten. In fact he makes the top 5. He was pressured early and often, and Hatch couldn't hit water if he fell out of an F'n boat. In fact Hatch was so bad he got fired mid-game. You could almost blame the entire 1st quarter on him.

Reesing wasn't perfect but he certainly made enough plays to warrant a mention. Don't forget that your #3 had to be coached by Reesing on several plays to get back into rhythm. And aside from Meier's throw, he was awful. He must've dropped 4 passes. What were you watching?

Hatch has flu symptoms. Let's don't hang him yet.

I do agree that Reesing is in ahead of Meier.

Great defense!

Thornton moved back to Corner it looked like to me. Plus Dorsey and Blakesley both dominated the game stoping the run and getting pressure. dorsey definitely deserved to be i the top 10.
And in my opinion Reesing graded out at a C minus or D plus at best.
He's so good that we have to grade him against himself and he was not close to his best last night

I don't know what more Jake could have done--he willed the team out of some holes in field position. He was incredible hitting the line of scrimmage. The defense was great, but it would have been irrelevant if Sharp had not played well. For the first half, he was the only bright spot on offense.

wayward, I vote for MadBull, because Max played like a mad bull yesterday. Every time he got up a head of steam he'd be in the backfield wreaking havoc on the quarterback.
