After each KU football game this season, this is where you can find out the gridiron equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He'll rate the Top 10 Jayhawk individual performances, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch.1. Dezmon Briscoe: Had 12 catches for 269 yards and two touchdowns. On the season, he has 43 receptions for 700 yards and eight touchdowns. 2. Todd Reesing: Threw for 342 yards under trying circumstances. 3. Jake Sharp: Rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on just 12 carries, leaving many wondering why he didn't get more carries. 4. Chet Hartley: Helped to clear a massive hole on Sharp's 17-yard touchdown run. 5. Jeremiah Hatch: The steadily-improving left tackle held his own pass-blocking and opening holes in the rushing game. 6. Jocques Crawford: Replacing Marcus Herford as a kick-return specialist, Crawford gained 42 yards on his first return. Herford's longest return was 26 yards. Crawford also had a rushing touchdown. 7. Darrell Stuckey: Had a key fourth-down breakup of a pass, one of his two pass breakups, and he also was more sure than most with his tackles. 8. Kerry Meier: Had a quiet day receiving, but did make an amazing one-handed grab while falling down and completed a pass on a reverse. 9. Ryan Cantrell: The offensive line did a decent job of protecting Reesing until Oklahoma's blitzing began to wear on KU. 10. Angus Quigley: Had three receptions for 22 yards. Pretty sad for the defense when 3 offensive lineman make the list plus our 3rd string back (this game) with 3 catches for 22 yards.

Yes, that first drive in the 2nd half where Jake Sharp Dominated. Kansas should have stuck with that and the would have won the game and wore down their defense. And the Defense has to be better prepared. no excuses for that!

Did anyone ask Mangino why after Sharp's TD why it took him five offensive series to not only get a carry but back in the game at all?

It became pretty clear that we were going to have to score with OU point for point. Sharp is good as a runner, but not as good as a blocker (his size hurts him). Meanwhile, Briscoe is an absolute stud. He's the top athlete among the WRs. He's a difference maker. GO DEZ!

Is anyone really that surprised by this game? You could see it coming from a mile away with the way the defense had been playing this year.
