Such greats as John Wooden and Bob Knight attribute significant facets of their games to Hank Iba's Okie Ball philosophy. This brand of ball is slowly spreading across the contemporary game. Royfense = LOL. Can't count how many times Roy's KU squads were touted as "great defensively," top-ranked and fell HARD. Take a closer look - Self's teams play hard, baseline-to-baseline, while Roy's boy's were forever renowned for giving up the open "Triceratop," as guards & small forwards rest on defense. Any good scouting report shows this tendency. What do you think is tougher....UNC's "Medicine Ball 400" or Self's "Boot Camp?" Puh-lease....Boot Camp, by 18 points.Nice work!
