Simple Blog Solution--Allow Users to "Unfollow" Other Users

The "Jaybate Effect" can be dealt with in ways that please both fans and detractors. If there was something as simple as an "unfollow" option, then those who find Jaybate's rants irritating can skip them altogether. The option should cover both comments and blog entries, so that the pictures he posts may also be side-stepped. This would also allow his fans to keep following him without interruption. There is already a "follow" feature on this site. KUsports would be catering to all people's wishes making for a more enjoyable experience for all parties, and without abridging JBs lengthy, meandering diatribes at all. It seems to be a perfect compromise!

I've advocated for this option for awhile now.

Yes. I can't imagine any fair-minded person saying they would deny the option to opt out of viewing certain others' posts.

It's reasonable, it doesn't violate freedom of Speech, and I could get behind it.

That being said, Ignoring those we disagree with only further's the divide and reinforces one's own superiority or in your case, Lack there of. My advice would be to drop it and learn to deal with Jaybate's posts the same we deal with yours...

While somewhat detached from reality, I accept that your opinion of my presence on the boards here is negative. If you can agree with that much I'll admit to the same about my feelings for the one you so sycophantically defend. You say your advice is to drop it, and yet you are cross with me in equal measure with what I am toward Jaybate. (Score one for me for appropriately citing your hypocrisy.) Secondly, your advice to me is to learn to deal with JBs posts in equal manner as you deal with mine. Yet the way you deal with mine is to say I have a lack of superiority. By your own prescription, I am obliged to point out JB's lack of superiority. Do you follow the logic? (Score again.) And finally, I have better things to do than to concern myself with what you think of me. No, really. I do. What really matters--objectively speaking--is solutions to an impasse and not this circus sideshow you've worked so fervently to create, and since by your own admission you think it reasonable that's all I concern myself with. (Hat trick). Final score: jross 3, wayward 0.

Joe, My dislike for you comes from outright suggesting that I support seperatism in an attempt to silence me. The fact I disagree with your point on Jaybate, really is of no consequence. You can score it however you want in your own mind, you never lose there. You have better things to do, Do them and brighten the world, stop whining about how someone's artist representations killed a fan blog.

Again, to be clear. I am not concerned about your dislike for me no matter what the source of it is. Are you envious that I bother myself with your opinion? If so, you're bound to be sorely disappointed, but thanks for explaining your feelings to the public anyway. (insert kumbyah moment music) There now. Do you feel better, or do you need to explain your feelings more? You were not even addressed and yet you felt the need to involve yourself. I think you need attention. Hmm. Perhaps THIS is why you and JB get along so well.

Birds of a feather...

Yes. That's the beauty of it. We could both be blocked.
