The Wildcat: Call it what you want

Kansas head football coach Turner Gill has no problem calling his often-used offensive formation "The Wildcat," despite the mascot of an in-conference rival.

Not that big of a deal, calling it the wildcat. It's not named after ksu. We ran this in the mid 80's in NC Kansas where I grew up, and it was called the Wildcat formation then.

Doubt anyone in the 'little apple' will care. After watching our offense today at GT..there are other nick names more appropriate.
