Tom, whatever you do, when the Jayhawks with Selby get into the national championship game v. Duke, pick Duke to win. This team has a long way to go but this team is going to get a lot better. This team has the potential, in the end, to be the last team standing. Who was our last player to have the skills of Marcus? This guy is going to take us a long way. However, I am anxious to see what he does when the rest of the guys get shut down and someone has to make the score. That will determine just how far we can go. He's not Pierce and Pierce couldn't get it done. However, I would say that Pierce is the last Jayhawk that has impacted the game as much as he will. Time will tell. He still has to prove himself but right now, I am thinking this guy is amazing. He needs to develop his move and pull-up jumper a little more but I am seeing something in this guy that we haven't seen in a while. Sherron and Cole were too limited. Neither had the potential offensively as Marcus. His heart has yet to be tested. It has never been on him. Soon, it will be. I hope he responds well to the challenge. This guy can score some points. When the competition gets tougher, we will be looking more to him. His numbers will go up. Taylor is developing well. I like Releford. Robinson brings so much energy. Markieff will force the teams to not double team so much. If Taylor can develop a shot, we will be very good in the end. As it is, his man will double down on Marcus.
