Mario, you are old enough to know better than to fight over a girl. You have got to get a hold of your emotions and in case you didn't know...there are more fish in the sea. I really hope that you didn't lay a hand on that girl. Best wishes to all involved, the team, and coaching staff. Hopefully all KU athletes will learn a lesson from this.
If it is not offered already, maybe KU needs to make student athletes both male and female take a class on conflict management, how to deal with the public, and the consequences of being in the public eye.
I am all in favor of education. But, at some point COMMON Sense has to come into play. No matter what happened it happened after 3am in the morning on finals week. That alone is stupid on his part. He has no business being out at that hour. Obviously he has too much energy if he can study and practice without sleep. I will wait for the other stuff to come down .. but the one fact that is in place is the 3am outing. BAD anytime.
@ jhawkerman---totally agree with the 3am time reference. Hey, anyone can tell HCBS was very disappointed in Mario. This is how I am feeling, too. The guy just made a poor decision at a time when one should be in bed. Yea, Finals Week---what's up with that? Hopefully, the rest of the team can "jet" past this distraction and move on.
