KUSports.com online editor Jesse Newell & Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan take a look at what to expect from the Jayhawk football team's first road trip of the season against UTEP.

Clarification - A house is where Tom lives with his family; where the players grew up with their parents. A crib is where the younger playerz live on their own.
I thought you did take it to the house when you returned a pick (not Kale) for a touchdown. When did it become a crib? Word?
It never became crib. I'm still in school and I have never heard "taking it to the crib" until this video. Here is to hoping that never catches on...ever.
I don't understand why everyone is giving UTEP's offense so much respect when they only put up 17 points on Buffalo (23 if you give them that touchdown). Maybe I am assuming incorrectly, but I would have to say that KU has a better defense than Buffalo. Also, Buffalo was able to put up 23 points with a new QB and KU has a senior QB, one of the best receiving corps in the nation, and a running game that put up 300 yards in week 1. I just don't expect this game to be close at all.
Wow, I guess no one remembers ...
The most colorful comments of the day, however, came from (Deon) Murphy, the Big 12 offensive newcomer of the year and an honorable mention All-American punt returner in 2007.
On his duties as a punt and/or kick returner this week: "I'm taking one to the crib this weekend, that's the bottom line."
K-State players apparently had more "heart" that week as well. Haha.
