KU by 34 .. leading scorer ... Cole .. has not done much in the X games expect him to turn it on tonight ..
The fact that we have so many great players this year and that we lost in the sweet 16 last year reminds me of the 07-08 season. Those guys were flush with talent and they had just come off a loss in the sweet 16 to UCLA if I remember correctly. People say Michigan state will be itching to win it all. So will KU and they have a better team right out the gate.
Isnt it great? Youre right that this team has so many great players that at any one time any player can look the best.
I would say Cole is an easy pick tonight...Hofstra has one guy thats 6'10 but after that they dont have anything...Pound it inside to open up the 3s and then pound it inside some more.
I personally think it's not gonna be that random. It's gonna be Cole tonight. The lesson all season long is going to be make them try to stop Cole, first... as it very well should be. Cole was just going through the motions a little in the preseason... and didn't log a lot of minutes. Now it's time to go to work. I predict he goes for 20 and 10 tonight... provided KU doesn't run away with it way too soon.
That's the problem, Sutton; we have seven to eight guys who all have the ability to look like the "best" player on the team. At this point you put everyone's name in a hat and draw one at random.
This game will........not even be close.
Marcus Morris is not out of the box for a hawk to rock...At times he looks like the best player on the team!
