Hey, there's no doubt these 2 studs are key to KUs success--last season and this upcoming season. Great heart, toughness, and skills. A good example for the rest of the team and the newcomers.

Cole Aldrich clearly has been eating like Andrea Hudy wants him to. He's got a little bit of a double chin forming. Certainly that won't be around past boot camp. He's going to be unstoppable this year.

I especially like that Collins has recognized that he needs to put more effort in this summer than he has in the past.

"I approached this year like I never approached every other year, I gotta take it really seriously."

This is what coach Self wanted from him last summer. He really learned last year what Self expects from his as the leader of this team. He has got to be the role model for these young Jayhawks year round. Sure, he could take another summer off and still have a great year and priobably still be a 1st round pick, but it's about so much more than that. He cares about KU basketball and he knows now that him working his butt off this summer is more for the continuity of KU baskteball than for his own personal gain.

Having Sheronatron and Condor come back is equivalent to getting a #1 and #2, five star recruit to commit...after they've had three years of experience!!!

Their presence, leadership and experience will be invaluable to this year's team........
ability gets you into the NCAA Tourney but experience wins it!!!!
