Opinion: Guessing game — Nobody knows where prep phenom Andrew Wiggins will spend his one year in college

Probably would be the best if he goes somewhere else than KU, as the evidence with one and done players that Self has had shows he doesn't do a good job with them. Selby, McLemore, both spent a lot of time on the bench in many games and KU doesn't make it very far in the NCAA tourny. High power players in the Self program is a failure.

A sour ending: KU collapses late in 87-85 overtime loss to Michigan

Longshot, I have saw the same thing you were talking about and yet that was my impression of their discussion. I just hate to see KU getting this type of publication. Self does need to get his act together with recruiting.

Pretty much an embarrassment again with a bill self team. 2010, 2011, and 2013 Ku a number 1 seed not making it to the final four. Up 14 points with 6 mins to go and a foolish play at the end of the game. This all tells us that KU's players are not as good as presented and there is a big problem with the head coach. McLenmore, and Selby both over rated players and good players that are not developed properly by the head coach, that the head coach is not doing his job. Releford a 5th year senior, Withey a tall blocker, and Young only good, Johnson to much time behind Morningstar, all this spells disaster when not being properly guided to become good players. A taller team with 4 seniors just couldn't get it done, just a sad display. This team had problems from the start and everone could see it. bill says we don't have a point guard, well how come bill?
Ku is behind the times of big time basketball and like everyone says it's on bill self.
Many of the sports people after the game have said, this will weight heavy on bill self for a long time and the KU fans will have to evaluate which direction this program needs to go.
This ranks up there with Bradley, Bucknell, Northen Iowa, and VCU, which tells us KU is not ready to play top teams consistently. Sad isn't.
It is no wonder why Randle went to Kentucky, Wiggins looks to be headed there also. What about the twins, can't recall their names, going to kentucky, not even giving KU a look.
Back a couple of years ago the experts were saying about KU in the recruiting, WHERE IS KU, well now we see the results of where is KU in recruiting, now it hurts.
Well, we have Wichita State to carry the banner as KU and KST couldn't do. Now there is a coach and team, wonder why KU doesn't want to play Wichita ST.
Lets get real and get this turned around and now.

Former KU football coach Mark Mangino joins Youngstown State program as assistant

The chances that Mark could end up on the sidelines with the great Purple and Grey are very very good. He would be a geat fit when the great Snyder leaves. Kansas ST. has a nationwide power house football and basketball program that the nation looks at when the word of Kansas is spoken.

Three and OUch: Jayhawks' skid continues with road loss to Sooners

Looks like it's all down hill from here. This team has quit and Self has lost this team. You could see this coming from the start of the year. MSU, Temple, Iowa ST., Kansas ST, and others, yea, they win some of them but, not by very much. This goes back to recruiting;. Tharpe, poor player from the start; Withey, good now, not great in his 4th year, but poor player from the start;, Johnson, good player but, not getting playing time in earlier year; Releford, taking to long to develop. Just poor recruiting of not very good players to start with. This goes back to poor recruiting by Self. This goes back to years before when Morningstar and Reed was recruited and the experts were saying that Kansas was not recruiting good players. Everyone was saying that a disaster was in the making.

This is going to hurt future recruitng and possibly in-coming now recruits. Kansas ST. is looking great now but, we will see how Weber recruits will work out.
