The Greene Room: Jayhawk Invitational wrap-up

I just wanted to say that I watched the 9:45 game on Saturday night of California Pump N Run, and I was absolutely horrified by what I witnessed. The coach had no controll of his players who were completely out of line. I have been around basketball my entire life, and have never seen anything so disrespectful to the game. The players had no sense of how they should be acting toward the referees, volunteers around the gym, each other, or the other team. To me, it just appeared to be a bunch of hot shot attitudes with some natural talent, that have never been expected to be responsible for their actions. The difference in fouls in the second half alone were 15-2 including 2 intentionals. It took a lot of restraint to bite my tongue and not say something to them. They were the stereotypical AAU basketball players that turn everybody away from the organization. And I'll just say that the "big man" on the team that everyone is crazy about, was the worst one.
