Celebrity status

I was never more proud to be a Jayhawk than when I listened to that video of questions given to the Hawks as they boarded for DC. They were asked how visiting the White House compared to winning the National Championship and to a man, they all said that both were very high honors and they were proud to be a part of both! Shows our guys are head and shoulders above so many who post on these boards and worthy of whatever good comes to them in life.

High school sophomore commits

I liked the part (which was on the boards yesterday) where he said he was also looking for a school which would provide a good education. The fact that he is a straight-A student in high school as well as a phonominal basketball legacy makes me confident that he is the kind of intelligent student-athlete we like to build our program around!! Bring on Memphis

Did anyone read that quote from Rose at their post-game conference: "Going into the game, we knew that we was going to win. Ain't too much to say." Then, "We're just a great team. With the team that we have, it's hard beating us." Talk about arrogance at its best!! I suppose they "KNOW" they are going to beat us too. Guys, let's give 'em a little of what NC experienced and they'll never know what hit them! And, furthermore, he'd BETTER leave for the draft! I don't know much about academics at Memphis but he couldn't pass English 101 at KU!!
