One prep decision and one transfer visitor highlight busy Monday for Kansas basketball

Frank Mason was ranked #118 on 247: https://247sports.com/Player/Frank-Ma... before he committed to Kansas. They are wildly unpredictable in their recruiting rankings and seem to be much less in tune with the actual recruits. I think rivals does a better job of actually scouting and ranking recruits.

UNC to name basketball court after head coach Roy Williams

Honestly, if Self wins another title with a few more FFs and sticks around for 10 more years racking up wins, I'd have no problem with them naming the court at AFH after him. Naismith already has a street named for him outside.

Tom Keegan: Count on Silvio De Sousa rebounding from scandal

You're Assuming that the payment to DeSousa's guardian actually happened, which at this point isn't a safe assumption. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the runner was simply telling his boss that he was making all of these payments to recruits or their families but was actually just pocketing the money for his own use.

Josh Selby. And then Xavier Henry had some serious eh.... chemistry issues with the team thanks largely to his annoying ass father and the insane amount of pressure he put on Xavier.

Tom Keegan: Count on Silvio De Sousa rebounding from scandal

The wiretaps were on calls between the shoe company runner and the shoe company, not between the runner and the parent/recruit.

Tom Keegan: Count on Silvio De Sousa rebounding from scandal

"For what reason would the Adidas associates invent payments to a guardian out of thin air? How could that possibly benefit them?"

Eh, this one is easy. To explain what happened to money that they instead pocketed themselves. I truly believe that these runners were saying they needed money to give to recruits and their families and instead keeping the money for themselves. Why wouldn't they? Their employers write off much of these payments knowing that they do not result in the kids involved ever signing with them.

FBI investigative file includes KU documents; athletic department says investigators have not contacted KU

It was totally irresponsible for this person to post that article with that headline and that article was filled with inaccuracies and incorrect leaps of logic. Youthful journalism fail big time.

FBI investigative file includes KU documents; athletic department says investigators have not contacted KU

If the FBI does nothing but read our apparel contract with Adidas, confirm that Gallo was not involved in it, then KU technically "has documents involved in the investigation". Just because they "have documents" doesn't mean that they have INCRIMINATING documents.

My assumption is that if you made the same FOIA request for info about ANY school's involvement in the investigation that you would receive an identical response from the FBI.
