I'm stoked about our deep threat potential! This is the best corps of receivers KU has had in a very long time. Lots of speed and good hands- and quality depth. We should break out this Saturday. LaTech better look out- they may have had a good game last Saturday- but KU's offense took a lot of flack this week. They'll be ready to prove themselves this Saturday!

I guess it will be a while before we stop playing fear factor with our football team. People are still, despite mangino's proven coaching and recruiting, living in " what if it all goes to pot against a good team" mentality. Over and over, we see top 5 teams play poorly in one aspect of a game, and the coach at the end of the game will say " well, we didn't play well, but it's a win- we'll take it". KU should be afforded that same luxury. Most of the improvement occurs between game one and game two.FIU is D1, and even poorer D1 clubs can have a few good players and some good strategies.

LJW- I just want to take the time to thank you for your coverage! This is the only KU website I go to and, as a former journalism major, I really appreciate your coverage and this website. Keep up the great work and, please, disregard the people who have nothing better to do than to criticize. Keegan- I enjoy " The Keegan Ratings". Thanks for a fun Sunday read.

The MU game was an abberation. It didn't have to do with poor competetion in the non conference season. They had lots of competition in the Big 12 prior to the MU game. The non conference competition is a non issue in terms of being in a position to win the Big 12 and go on to a national title. The Big 12 is salty enough that, if you win it, win the games you should, go undefeated, you will be in a great postion to play in the national title game.
