KU football gets another game on TV, and it's at 11:30
I wonder if "Debbie Downer" uses Midol?

K-State in dickens of a mess
I am yet another lifelong KU fan that doesn't get what the problem is with paying good money for success. Lew Perkins is an AD dream come true. Finally- KU is doing what it takes to rise above the mire of mediocrity. Keep up the amazing work, Lew.

KU football to hold open practices
For me, football is king. Given the choice between the two, I'd go to the spring game. Go Big Blue!

Who does Jesus cheer for?
Being a Christian, thankfully, is not based on being a good person. It has to do with believing in a good God. People that are thankful for God's goodness want to share this happiness with everyone, so that other people can enjoy it, too. It won't give you a hangover, it's not illegal (yet), and He'll never betray you! .....just food for thought- doesn't open-mindedness imply that you are open to consider Jesus, too?

Top five Kansas Football Stories of 2008
I'm not usually one to take shots, but reading over the content of this story, as well as other ones written by this guy, the previous comments posted do, in fact, have merit. By choosing to include bits of information that someone who is an advocate would omit, one can only draw the conclusion that Mr. Arnett is neither pro KU nor is he unbiased. But, since I am pro KU, I will bring up a few things: 40-37, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, National Champs, two consecutive Big VII title game thrashings.

See who's on the hot seat
My pick was Carroll. He just seems to be untouchable.

Sharp tops Keegan Ratings in loss
I have to object to last season not being that good. All I have to do is get on my DVR and watch the way we manhandled a VaTech team that many picked for much of the season to be in contention to play in a game like the national title game. To state the obvious, that game was not in Lawrence. We were a heck of a team last year. Look at the win in Stillwater. Look at OSU's success this year- they are basically the same team. Remember the way people mocked KU when it was announced that KU would represent the Big 12 in the OB last year? The pundits had to eat their words, didn't they? The soft schedule thing was brought up time and time again prior to the Orange Bowl. People were saying that MU should have been there. VaTech students got on youtube and mocked KU. No one was laughing after the game, though! And no one could deny that KU belonged there. Last year, in summary, was not the product of a soft schedule. KU was that good. Bring up MU all you want. One loss. I'll take it!

Now that was ugly
Yip, got our butts whooped. Yip, looks like the old days. But, GA_Longhorn made a good point- other good teams have gone through this before. Do I think we're on the road to mediocrity? No. Obviously some changes need to be made. Bowen may not be ready for DC responsibilities. Yesterday should have been the day to take chances- and he didn't do it in the way that makes sense. Should have had a dime package, should have had corner blitzes, quick DL packages, etc. I stand corrected about my predictions- but the season isn't over. It should be noted that going to a bowl in back to back seasons is still a mile stone. And that, again, shows a level of success never acheived by KU. Thanks to Mangino, the coach who didn't win all of the National Coach of the Year awards by fluke- if anyone thinks that was a fluke, watch the Orange Bowl again! Even if it's the Texas Bowl or another middle of the pack bowl, 2 in a row would be awesome....

FINAL: Texas Tech racks up 559 yards of offense in 63-21 victory
A lot of talk about last years schedule....forgetting we beat a real good VaTech team handily in the Orange Bowl. Now, let the talk about last year's schedule continue.....
