Insight targeting Kansas

Yeah, the Tech game was a blowout, we were only able to keep it close for a quarter. We were in the Oklahoma game into the third quarter (down 7 with the ball at one point, I believe), and the Texas game was close at halftime, at least on the scoreboard. While I wish we would have pulled out the South Florida game to make 7-5 the worst case scenario now instead of the best case, there's no shame in going to a bowl at 6-6, especially considering all the talent we lost from last year, plus the schedule difficulty. And if you still think .500 doesn't warrant a reward, that's fine, but that is the system in place, so don't look a gift horse in the mouth (whatever the hell that means).

Hang ’em high

Aldrich will be fine. Guys who go from bench players to starters almost always need time to get used to having 35 minutes, rather than 15, to mete out 5 fouls. I think by the time conference play rolls around, he'll be quite comfortable.

Hey... I never got my KUsports Tshirt either for winning Guess the Points for one of the tourney games (KU-Nova, I think). They're skirting on their responsibilities of "prize awarders"! I demand action!!

Holy crap! I used to work with Grant at KU and I've played cards with him in the past. Congrats, sir!

By the way, it looks as if ESPN will televise this tournament on July 29, so everyone tune in to watch another Jayhawk win a championship!

White House to honor Jayhawks Tuesday

Regardless of politics, Bush is just a flat out idiot. If I met him, I think I'd knock on his head a few times and say Hello, McFly? Anyone home? ... Of course, I'd get my butt kicked by Secret Service, but I think it would be worth it :)

Speaking of Bob Davis' call on Mario's shot, does anyone know if the entire Jayhawk Radio broadcast is available anywhere? Anyone know anybody who recorded it? In the excitement, I never thought to turn on the radio and listen to the local guys.

Maybe the girls wore it, but I'm pretty sure the boys in blue didn't wear any makeup this year.
