FINAL: Xavier Henry sets KU freshman debut record with 27 points in 101-65 rout of Hofstra

New ESPN360 users... I believe nearly every game that's on J-TV or any ESPN / 2 / U channel should be available also on ESPN360.com. Usually the best quality (IMHO), and I believe any CBS game MAY be available starting at sportsline.com's home page. Hope that helps anyone unfamiliar to where to watch online.

Jesse N - how about a bigger Twitter box? It's great, but hard to keep up sometimes...

Standards have been lowered

I miss Chuck Woodling being the main man - to the best of my knowledge, he didn't get as petty as Mr. Keegan. Doubters can say we are just the "haters", but consistently his articles mix personal vendetta (lack of better word) when he is snubbed.

From my experience, I too hung out w/ many African Americans at KU, including Downtown Terry Brown / Chris Lindley (RIP Big Man) to name a few. They way the N-word was tossed around from 1 AA to another in the group I "ran" with would probably give Keegan's nuns heart attacks. But the Caucasians among us didn't reciprocate, we knew the proper use the term had among the AA's, and man.... we ALL got along!!! Sure a woman was involved here/there & caused issues, but in time things healed, adults acted like adults, and life went on.

Now boys, as the Beasties once said "Gotta get it together, and see what's happenin'". Let's bring home TWO national championships this year!!! Go KU!!

Packer deserves credit

Nice story, but it is the arrogance Packer carries that turns people off. DRose mentioned above, how about engaging Phil Martelli of St. Joe's a few years back... he had 2 legit NBA guards on that team and they squabbled over a #1 seed or not.

Also, the time comes for change - Packer tries to be so 100% factual (and maybe that's my perceived arrogance of him), that like any of us, he'll mess up. Listen to the end of the Memphis game when Memphis doesn't pickup the ball on a dead ball inbound situation... Packer starts to say they better pick it up or they'll risk a 5 second call... um, no. They were avoiding the clock starting Billy.

He's not perfect, I certainly am not, but it's time for new blood... hell, ESPN rolls out 55 new announcers for college football it seems every year, so there has to be "talent" available. :)

RCJH! Go KU!

FINAL: Michigan State uses late comeback to take down KU, 67-62

Thanks for a good run fellas. Let's get 6 in a row & then 2/3 nationally :) Hopefully Sherron & Cole return - we'll be the team to beat!

Report: Stern singles out KU duo

Does anyone remember the Portland Blazin' Blazers of years back who were DRIVING HOME from Seattle after a game? Where was the rage around that from Stern? Disappointed yes, and maybe there was a suspension for a game or so, but I don't remember it getting quite this level of attention. What would you rather have... stoned athletes driving, or ones in a hotel room (with women - gee, see every NBA team hotel when on the road)? Yeah I'm disappointed they couldn't hold it until they were out of this "camp", but this is getting overblown by Mr. Stern.

Arthur hacking away

Since when did anyone care about summer league games? It's glorified practice & w/o 1/2 the league participating for crying out loud. Derrick Rose "lost" to Michael Beasley in their first game in Orlando, and it makes front page news here in Chicago & elsewhere? WTF? God bless the internets... :)

Kansas' Randall in class of his own

Nicely written Tom.... long overdue on Coach Randall. I remember at Alvamar back in my Junior Golf class days, Coach stopped over & offered pointers to us on the range (which I could still use today!) on his own. Class personified.
