Reesing deserves courtesy
Yeah, National Coach of the Year, he hasn't proven he's a good enough coach... blah, blah, blah... so you're unhappy, get over it. We are fortunate to have such a good coach. Reesing needed a wake up call and he got it. He'll get it together but he has been struggling... maybe he needs to get some sleep before the game... (see feature article several weeks ago). Regardless, this articles bothers me. It seems like you are trying to "stir the pot". Don't create drama where there isn't any. I'm sure Reesing knows full well why he was riding the pine and he is man enough to pull himself together and do a good job.

KU to meet Texas Tech at 2:30 on ABC
Bleufer - I have the same situation here in Oregon. I don't know if I'll get the games vs. OU and TTU, either.

Pollard most likely done with NBA
Marketing! MJ has been promoted by the largest athletic merchandise company in the world.
Great, yes. I'm a fan. But the greatest, no.
I haven't read a single word about Dr. J - he played in a league that struggled to get publicity because of NBA influences in the media. Had he been given the marketing of MJ, we might be reciting another marketing "hook" besides "I wanna be like Mike". Perhaps, "Gotta see the Dr.".
The only thing MJ was missing was a theme song!
MJ (Nike) logo, the jump from the free throw line to dunk the ball, wasn't even performed first by MJ. Also, I'm told that the free throw rule, "can't cross the line until the ball hits the rim", was created because Wilt would jump from the free thow line towards the rim - very few misses with that technique.

Dream title: KU vs. UK
A player by player match-up, but teams win games. Kansas is team oriented. Big edge: Kansas

The morre you learn about Wilt, the more you have to appreciate his athletic ability. If he were playing in the NBA today, he wouldn't be the same size he was during his career. You can't just move him forward in time without allowing for a compensation in his physical stature as well. He would be bigger, stronger, faster and have even greater basketball "smarts" becasue he would have grown up playing against better competition like all the current players.... that said,
take a look at this link and look closely at his College Career section.... look at his stats in Track and Field.... do some research and find the rule changes that were made because of Uncle Dippy... players of today are who they are, because of players like Wilt Chamberlain!
