Prep Henry won't decide until spring

I just had a dream where Henry and Wall both came to KU.

Then I woke up to reality :(

KU using music to drown out chant

Apparently Wisconsin's kickoff chant is "Eat Sh..t f...ck you." "Rip his f'ing head off" is sort of tame in comparison.

Of course, that's wisconsin. Maybe that's why karma feels willing to spite them every year with high preseason poll rankings then a quick drop.

Gary Bedore's KU basketball notebook

I have a hard time making a decision at a fast food drive-thru. I'll give Henry some leeway if he has a hard time making a decision about where his college career will occur.

KU men's basketball 23rd in preseason coaches poll

Badgers is a mizzou fan if I remember right, so have pity on his basketball team. Doesn't look good for them.

From what I hear, Aldrich will breakout in awesome, Sherron should rock again, Taylor is getting rave reviews, Releford sort of made the u-19 national team (so I imagine he'll be pretty decent), the Super Morris Bros are gonna be solid, and the rest of the group isn't looking too shabby either. Should be a good group.

They get some ranked teams relatively early, which I'm excited about. Pressure cook those kids. They'll have ice water in their veins by tournament time.

Stephen Curry is my homeboy.

Louisville and Pittsburgh will probably flake out. Just like football?

Memphis will be top 10 by tournament.

Duke will lose to UNC and will lose in the Sweet 16.

Miami Fl. and Purdue will probably disappoint.

And thats my bs predictions for the year!

Kansas donor Kivisto fired in Tulsa

Maybe Warren Buffett wants to outdo T. Boone Pickens in buying college football team. The fact that he got a degree from Nebraska is irrelevant.

(Expletive) chant remains

... And everyone expected what exactly? I'm just looking forward to another UDK with multiple articles about the chant. I love how there's been something in that for pretty much every day.

Oh, avaholic, the violence doesn't bug anybody because it quickly became clear that our defense wasn't going to be ripping any heads off yesterday.

From what I heard, the real reason the university is trying to get rid of the chant is that Adidas is threatening to drop us. I dunno if it's true, but that would make sense. Dollar signs...

KU chant options narrowed to two

I hope all of you on both sides of the issue who feel like the way to express yourself here is to demean people of the other opinion realize that it sort of destroys your argument when you sound like a judgmental prick.

Some people like to drink, some think it's dumb. Some curse, some don't. Respect some opinions, people. You don't have to start insulting people to make a point.

I mean, yeah, it's sort of rude to curse in front of random people, especially young kids... but jeez. Some of you get so worked up. Try getting off your high horse and being rational about it though instead of complaining and thinking that you're a better, more moral person than everyone else.

Xavier Henry involved in car accident

I'm okay with signing someone who's going to mask it up, Allen Iverson style.

Recruit had blast at Late Night

"Snaer, who also has been to Missouri, Florida State, Marquette and UCLA, now will digest what he has seen at all five places and choose a destination in the coming days or weeks."

Hmm, lets think about this one. Mizzou, Florida State, Marquette, UCLA, or... KU?

Pretty easy decision, not even considering bias. UCLA and KU are the only two of those I would even consider, and KU definitely has more upside, other than pure minutes.

Vegas prep Johnson feeling better after choosing KU

I'm okay with Johnson not being a true point since it sounds like Taylor is going to be a beast.

Henry? I think we have one last scholarship, don't miss the boat on KU national championship 2010...
