Bedore: Several Jayhawks banner-worthy

Fun Article....I like sticking with the 'stodgy' criteria to keep it fair. Therefore, only Simeon gets the banner. If you want to add someone else, you must change the criteria... eg. Final 4 MVP. I certainly don't think anything a person does after graduating should affect their status (unless they do something terribly imbarrassing to KU). I think I watched all of Hinrich's games... I always thought Nick Collison was just as valuable. Where's he in the discussion???

Newcomers have tons to learn

Me too Bill! Thank goodness I recorded the game in HD on DVR. I think I've watched it 10 times. Whenever I'm bummed in the late evening after a long day, nothing beats watching 'the game.'In the 23 seconds Teahan played last season, he looked slow and a boy among men. Our quickness on D and ability to stop the drive was KEY last year.

I mainly remember how all he did was shoot 3's and play NO defense. Therefore, I'm surprised he didn't do well in the NBA

Self not surprised with preseason poll

Haven't these silly coaches learned yet??!!KU wins every year, period. Maybe they're just being polite to Texas and OU since we return no starters. I predict we lose a few early, then Self coaches these newbies to a Big 12 title.

Boot Camp makes Jayhawks want to hurl

I really don't expect Sherron to be that consistent this year. He's explosive, but is no stranger to 'off' nights. I'm soo excited to get to know the new hawks, but must remember the first time I saw Chalmers, Rush, and the new bunch suck at the Maui Invitational.

I can't believe no one is mentioning this... Something Stinks at Memphis, and no, it's not the filthy town that it is. Why are they all of a sudden getting top notch recruits?? It it the're town??? NO. Is it their tradition? Certainly Not. Is it they're car salesman of a coach?? Possibly Are the players getting a sweet deal??? I think so.

KU's Sasha Kaun to represent Russia in Olympics

I think I may actually root for the Russians over the US. I just have troubles pulling for Kobe and Carmelo. On another note... I'm looking forward to spanking the overrated Volunteers in January. The SEC sucked this year in BB and our newbies will have no problem with this basketball 'wannabe' school.
