Gary Bedore’s KU basketball notebook

Redshirting isn't going to solve the scholarship issue since they're still under scholarship (even though they are redshirted). I do believe that Roger Morningstar will pick up Brady's scholarship and QT will transfer...pros and cons to both, but that's just my 2 cents.

Get ready for KUSports.com Bracket Contest (and an opportunity to win a 50" flat screen TV)

If we get a top 10 finish, can we get a "CREAM KEEGAN" shirt?

Triple delight

The most memorable part of the game for me....when Cole went up and was fouled screaming "AND 1!!!!!" :-)

Great game overall by Cole and the Hawks. Looking forward to Indianapolis

Dear Mr. Woodside,

You can sure ball. It was very fun watching you play, even though you made many sweat this game the whole time. You're a class player and I hope you do well doing whatever the future has in store for you.

Sincerely,

Jayhawk Nation

So much for down year: Big 12 starts tourney 6-0

Gus Johnson "lost his mind" a few times in that game (just going ga-ga over some plays). That's why I like him calling college hoops. Both he and Bill Raferty (sp) do a good job of getting excited about college ball.

Difficult draw

All I remember from Bucknell is this "a No. 14 seed with zero NCAA Tournament victories in its 110-year history, five scholarship players and even a borrowed band."

Who does this remind us of this year?

Aldrich’s high school coach might cut class

Well....we'll need to travel well for Friday's game:
“Their assistant athletic director said today that they anticipate 12,000 fans coming to the game,” Evens said. “It’s really big for them. I remember they came down as a Div. II program two years ago and played our Gophers and beat them.

“They had half the dome — 20,000 fans,” he added, referring to the Bison’s 27-21 football win over the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers on Oct. 20, 2007.
