Reed a leader for Kansas men
race is playing a part in the perceptions of Reed.
unfortunate but true.

Morris twins adding bounce to their step
Reed is the man. I think everyone is forgetting he was a only Sophomore last year! He's a great shooter and I feel comfortable when he has the ball. He could be the starting PG next year even with Knight or Selby coming to town.

Fracas sends KU guard Tyshawn Taylor to hospital
This has nothing to do with character.
Everybody messes up, does something they regret, has a lapse in judgement, or gets into a bad situation with no good solution.
Even a long string of unbecoming incidents would not be enough to truly indict someone's character, so let's not be so presumptuous as to think we know what we don't (Socrates would make fools of us if we did).

Wichita prep Ellis to visit Memphis
I think Ellis will choose KU ultimately, but Memphis is going to continue to be good. They've already got some good recruits coming in for next year so don't count on them returning to their pre-Calapari form anytime soon.

Hey Dallas: It's time to give Drew Gooden a chance
Gooden was unstoppable in those last few playoff series he played with the Cavs. I was really surprised that they shipped him off to Chi-town.
Really I still consider the more recent shuffling to have been the after shocks of that move.
Dallas will be where he reestablishes the prowess he had which went largely unmentioned while playing alongside LeBron. when you have LeBron any shot not by the King himself will be questioned, but tolerated so long as it goes in.

Ex-KU guard Robinson impresses Magic officials
Basketball rules in Lawrence, don't deny it.
KU Football is great, smoking dope while watching Breakfast Club is great, and so is Ninja Warrior, but none will supplant Basketball.
moaning about football coverage is so cliched and pointless.

Collins better get in shape
I'm baffled that a professional writer would end a piece by going completely off topic. It makes no sense to end with some jibes at the Henrys and the line, "Daddy can’t talk them into that", when the article is about Collin's weight and the potential ramifications (which are strained regardless).
Ironically, all KU students know that when you write anything, and you're hoping to have some kind of coherent point, you must have a premise (thesis), reasoning, and a conclusion that is related to that premise and reasoning.
Is it too much to ask of a professional what we ask of students?
