FINAL: KU survives Memphis, 57-55

Sorry Memphis...Kansas played as bad as they possibly could, and you still can't beat them. This game should be a wake up call for this team that they aren't that good yet.

This is what happens when you let a bad team hang around, they can throw up prayers like that and get lucky. Better make FTs!

This team looks like crap! Hopefully this is an aberration or they are in trouble, because Memphis is not a good team.

Henry brothers close to making decision; father says no visit to Kentucky, but later says visit on tap

KY_Cats1,

Hey inbred, first of all your arena sucks. It has no character and is just a bland cookie cutter arena. Secondly, your arena is named after Adolph Rupp. Care to venture a guess as to where Mr. Rupp played and learned his basketball? (Basketball for Dummies hint: It was as a Jayhawk!) And you honestly think you have the best basketball coach in America? How many championships has he won? He's been to one final four (and don't come at me with the UMass one that was vacated because of violations, it doesn't count!) And do you think there may be a reason why no other big-time program has gone after him? Either they didn't think he was the real deal (not likely) or they wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole because he is a major violation/probation waiting to happen. Kentucky was desperate and needed to make a big splash so they are taking a huge risk with this scumbag and it will end up blowing up in their face.

Have fun the next few years winning 30 games a year and then flopping in March until it all comes crashing down and you are one step away from the death penalty (and the only thing that will save your program from that is the Kentucky name.)

Relatives hint Aldrich, Collins will return

Sherron and Cole will announce tonight that they are staying. On Wednesday, Lance announces and signs with the Jayhawks and Zav-ee-ay ends up going to Kentucky to play for his boy Cal. I think Self does the smart thing and tells Lance the scholly is his if he wants it and if he takes it before X. Lance does the smart thing and takes the opportunity to go to Kansas and compete for a NC. Of course I could be completely wrong and none of this happens.

KU fans: What you post on Facebook could lead to NCAA rules violations for Jayhawks

This may quite possibly be the dumbest thing I have heard or read about in a long, long time, if not ever!! Get a life NCAA geezers!

Lucas 'got lucky'

Congrats MSU, enjoy having your @$$es handed to you tomorrow! I am now a huge Louisville fan. I can't stand Izzo or the way his team plays football on the basketball court. Here's hoping KU gets MSU in the tourney next year because if everyone comes back and the new guys live up to the hype, KU will win by 20 next year.

Please take the job in Arizona next year Izzo. I live in Big 10 country and can't stand seeing your whiny, pouty face and I can't stand watching your teams style of play. Go away, far away!

Bitter sweet 16

With Johnson, Robinson, and Stephenson coming in next year, KU is at 15 scholarships (2 over the limit). This means that two scholarships have to go. If both Sherron and Cole go, then that does it (but that is the worst of the scenarios). If both stay (which would be the best scenario) then two people would have to transfer or give up their scholarships. Morningstar is the only candidate to give up a scholarship (and that would make up for the stage-fright performance last night) and the only two transfer candidates that I could see are Relaford and Thomas (and I hope they don't). I guess we will just have to wait and see. If I had to guess, Sherron stays, Cole goes, and Morningstar gives up his scholarship.
